Firm to supply 53 corrosion protection systems
OES Group has secured a contract with Smulders to supply and install external and internal ICCP systems for 53 monopiles and boat landings at the OranjeWind offshore wind farm.
The company said the site is located in the North Sea around 53 kilometres off the Dutch coast.
OES Group said RWE and TotalEnergies will install more than 795MW of offshore wind capacity at the site, enough to power almost one million Dutch homes.
The company said Smulders is contracted to support secondary steel fabrication and OES Group was awarded the ICCP supply and installation following an extensive design interface between all parties.
OES Group said it will supply Smulders with 53 ICCP systems to protect the internal and external monopiles from corrosion throughout their service life.
The company said the award showcases its directly welded ICCP anodes for boat landings as a robust and sustainable solution.
OES Group said it is proud to continue its collaboration with Smulders, RWE and TotalEnergies.
