Grupo Enhol selects six N163 turbines for Navarra upgrade

The Nordex Group has secured a new order from Grupo Enhol for the repowering of the Caparroso wind farm in Navarra according to the company.
Nordex will supply and install six N163/5.X turbines for a total capacity of 34.2MW according to the company.
The manufacturer said it will also deliver a 20-year Premium Service agreement to support long-term operations.
The project builds on previous collaborations between the companies at the Abilitas, Cabanillas and Pestriz wind farms in Navarra according to Nordex.
Installation is scheduled to begin in July 2026 with commissioning expected by February 2027 according to the company.
Nordex said towers, blades and nacelles will be produced in Spain, while hubs and drive train components will be manufactured in Germany.
The company said the Caparroso repowering project is financed through the European Union’s Recovery and Resilience Facility under the Recovery, Transformation and Resilience Plan as part of NextGenerationEU.

“Our advanced turbine technology and manufacturing capabilities are essential for supporting the region’s energy transition and the goals of the European Union’s Recovery and Resilience Facility,” said Francisco Cejudo.
“We are pleased to extend our partnership with Grupo Enhol and support Navarra’s leadership in renewable energy with the delivery of our technology,” said Francisco Cejudo.
